they should have taken the lab rat out that they used in the earlier experiment to power it by running rodents... He's pretty tired obviously, and just tumbling throughout the center tack. hes probbly dead.
It really slows it down and makes it unstable.
What were they thinking???

actually hydrogen is cheaper because you can easily make it, helium isnt as easy to get hold up

I don't see how such low RPM could generate any electricity at all.
-
Helium is a non renewable resorce and as a result this design is not realistic for the future because it will no longer work when there isn't any helium left
-
@fx451Jockey You would also have to take lots of heavy expensive metal helium tanks to these disaster areas. I thought this was a joke when I first saw it. The more I look, the funnier it becomes.

so it can generate interest... how about electricity?
-
i bet you could power half a lightbulb with this beauty.

Well easy way is when we can shrink down the panel sizes in Solar panels and also have them absorb more energy from the light spectrum, with better nano technolgy and material that can absorb more waves of light we can see Solar pannels increase to 3-4X efficiency

Excuse me..
Is there anyone can tell me the size of this ? ..please
thx ka :))*

@applesweeter 1) freedom as it relates to the primal instinct of our roaming species
2)adventure, unknown horizons
3) slower, more of a challenge/accomplishment
The concept is fundamentally flawed. One word Torque. You must counter the torque to turn an alternator. Huge omission in this design.
They want lots of investment, and shovel out the sales patter, but they are a joke idea.
They suggest taking these to disaster hit areas to provide power. Yeah, as opposed to taking a small portable and reliable generator. It's a smack of desperation to make the idea look viable and have real world uses.
Invest? No thanks.

This was an early prototype from a few years back look at the website to see newer working versions
