A terrific ballad from Ken Hensley's underappreciated 1975 solo album 'Eager to Please'.

  • I read Ken's autobiography "Blood on the Highway". He mentions the story behind this song. The house on the hill was a mansion in LA where he went with one groupie after a gig in the US with Heep. She just took him there, they were taking drugs like crazy , there was another girl naked, sex, orgies...then Ken Hensley went to the upper floor and saw on the floor many golden records....it turned out that the house on the hill was of David Crosby....crazy story, crazy book. Read the book!
