Two circuit bent toys, a plasma ball and my boombox.
The electrostatic field caused by the plasma ball effects the toy on the left. Even when I'm not touching the ball, I can get most of the range of the knob by interupting or manipulating the field. It also effects other functions on the toy, such as the keyboard and scratch effects.

  • Everybody im his son! I was playing wii in my room then i heard this and i was like "What the hell?"

  • @drsuperblock0 I think I am supposed to tell you to say heck.

  • .... Did u acctually wire the plasma ball in somehow?

  • @Musiccalculater No, the plasma ball is just near the circuit bent toy on the left, that is the one the static field messes with, and the sound flux is just from my hands interacting with the field. If I were to put the plasma ball at arms length from the toy, and touch the plasma ball with one hand and reach to the toy with the other, same effect. Some toys go bonkers, others do not. The ones with potentiometers (because they have coils inside) seem to react the most.

  • Cool Tele! This is what I call Radiopool, a very open and fantastic new door to bending.

Check my qrghazala youtube account to see my Thereglyph ...the sensitive areas of the circuit can be extended to plates and antennas, too. -Reed

  • @qrghazala Thanks! The Thereglyph is ubercool, all your stuff has that "truly from somewhere else" look. A few years back, my son was playing with the plasma ball and the toy on the left, and it reacted. He then put his hand on the plasma ball, my hand over the toy, and tried to see if the effect would work through a piece of wet macaroni and cheese, IT DID, in fact he got a mild static shock, and the macaroni lit-up blue as we both were shocked. And it was on his sixth birthday. Made me proud.

  • Love the macaroni link!!! Bending with glowing pasta. Whole new field.

  • somehow, this looks ultra high tech in a 1980's way. so I'll say RADICAL, and TOTALLY BAD! (...meaning good.)
