Mong ancient game, A match between two masters. The rule: cannot hit; cannot use front kick (either by foot or knee) because that can seriously hurt the opponent; cannot hold; cannot push; one can only either side kick or back kick.

This game was practiced by Mong during the 20th Century in both Laos and Thailand. However, they stopped the fighting game; but it is still being held by Mong in China.

The man in brown shirt won a match when his opponent disqualified by doing an illegal kick. He also beat two master fights and was the grand winner for the event.

  • Its Hmong not Mong. :-)

  • @davidhers Did you read what I posted on my main page?

  • they don't look like masters to me.

  • haha. I guest they don’t have to dress in kungfu or karate clothes to look masters. hehe. The two guys at the end in this video were actually finalists for the title.

  • @HmongUniverse no, i mean that their kicks didn't look like a master's kick. they don't even move like masters. i'm referring to their clothes or that they don't move like in the movies, you can easily go down to the local taekwondo dojo and see little kids do better side kicks and back kicks anyday. i'm not saying that i can do better, i'm way out of shape. i just didn't see any masters in the video. i'm not familiar with this game but is blocking against the rules? why are their arms down?

  • I guess they could block but they can't hit with their hands. And in those situations, the kicks are much too fast for anyone to use his hands to block. I think each game is unique becaues their rules are different.

  • i can kick these two ass.

  • sawv ncaws is better!!

  • @sengthor84 Cool down. I'm sure u're Hmong. It's just a traditional game where you can only throw a kick with ur back facing the other person. No punches. No front kicks. Try it with ur friends sometimes.

  • YOUR BACK HAS TO FACE THE OTHER PERSON IN ORDER TO THROW A LEGAL KICK. IT'S A CULTURAL GAME. MY GRANDPA STILL ENJOYS IT. IT'S LIKE TWO HORSES KICKING EACH OTHER. PUNCHES AND FRONT KICKS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

  • @zoosiab100 fuck u, u must be hmong fuckin ass

  • Some people has no support for their own fellow Hmong/Mong/Hmoob/Miao...when I watch something has my Hmong people in there, I'm proud of it cuz now people know who the Hmongs are...Hmoob Tuag Nthi!!!

  • Mong/ Hmong are the same. Hmong in china still call themselves mong or Miao. Only western Hmong people call them Hmong.

  • i remember in thailand when i was still a kid, we use tho play this game called "kick or sit". its similar to this. the idea is when u want to kick each other then u stand, but if you're chicken butt then u sit. will that was long time ago.

  • funnay asss shittt
