I agree! Never thought it worked for djembes. Brilliant idea with the cajuns! Also check out Kroumata plays "Resan till Gotland"

As you can read in the info: "Written for djembe drums but here performed on three cajunes". I think it works better on cajunes, because you can hear the different sounds more clearly in this version.
