I found a new method for making creases/wrinkles on textures. It's a more precise way than my other wrinkles tutorial. It looks a lot different, but better in my opinion. I used Photoshop 7.0 for this tutorial.

  • do i have to download that skwiggily brush you showed you picke? cuz i dont have it and can you tell if you downloaded it yourself and where can i get it?

  • @MoneyRizzle51iZz0h

Nope, you don't have to download it. The reason it's squigly in the drop down menu, is because I have a tablet. If you have a mouse, the line will be blockish. But when you use this technique, whether or not you have a mouse or tablet, just make sure you tick "simulate pressure" and it will be like how I did it :) - it'll look like you've used a tablet.

  • this is wonderful thank you so very much for doing this ! Now if I can figure out where I should put them i be doing something :) Great thanks

  • Next time instead of recording with ur camera get a free screen recorder downloaded

  • @morphman86 Same problem and I'm using CS5. I'm following her exactly, except my line is straight, cause I want a straigh crease, and it just does it blocky. Any help Cindy? What is this ignortant fool (me) doing wrong?

  • Great work, thanks for this tut. :)

  • Oh, this was awesome. Much easier than the method I've used before... One question thou:

In PSCS3, how do you get that brush dynamic where it starts small, gets wider and then end small again? I can only find the option for ending small and "simulate pressure" does nothing on such short stretches.

  • Great tutorial Cindyy, keep them coming please, you are helping those of us who have trouble following written commands like in the books learn more about how to create textures and stuff for Imvu. I'm more of a hands on learner than a book learner. lol.

  • @GirLInSecondLife Could not agree more. Thank you, Cindy, for this tutorial! =)

  • Ohhh, I got this bitches shoes on imvu, them granpa lookin ones hahha

  • First person I've seen who actually takes the time to tell each step and makes it clear. Thank you so much.

  • I noticed you're using the lightness to turn the white into black, if it's solid white, all you need to do is press ctrl+i to invert the white to black. =)
