Very easy to develop for, if you know Java. Java is one of the hardest languages to learn. If you used say Python, it would be a lot easier to learn and read and if you used C++ a lot more people would be familiar.
I do really like the video. It is very clear and helpful to give me an idea of what they're talking about!

Scott, I nkow that. But I have an honours degree in computing and progrqmmed profeessionally for more than a decade, though none of that was in the object-oriented world.

You are cleary very knowledgeable but that's only half of what's needed to make this video useful. Presumably, this video is here to teach people who don't know how to program Android to do so. But you are not building knowledge from a common ground up, you're started way up the building and hoping people can scrabble up there with you. You're not explaining fundamentals, you're hoping we absorb knowledge by osmosis. This is harders, and it generates stress which is a block to understanding.

I came here thinking I could learn to build a app. But he goes thru it like all the classes and everything is so intuitive. Not for beginners
