@1969Chronos Not a problem, but yeah thats comercial Rumba but males do not move there hips "rumba" and "yambu" wich is the oldes rumba sort of speak all those rithems are originated in Cuba if ull like to learn a little more about it check out a video name "La Rumba". god bless.
@Qu3mao It must be the Cuban rumba. In international ballroom rumba, the technique requires that both female and male dancers move their hips in what is called the Cuban motion (ironic, isn't it?). Thank you for the clarification, though.
@1969Chronos Hey guys in rumba don't move there hips that part belongs to the girl guys show oss by moveing there shoulders and legs thats how guys should dance rumba.
Not really. I saw a touch of Hatian, a generous helping of Orisha moves and just barely enough pure 'rumba' in her hips at least to be rumba. Even her colors were Eleggua. How much more 'negroid' can you get than that?
The girl did a much better job with the hips. I have noticed that male dancers in Latinoamerica are so afraid of negative criticism from non-dancers male counterparts that they don't move their hips anymore, just the feet. It's a misfortune since they are eliminating the negroid components of the dance in order to comply with the macho agenda in our countries.
