@magnus56j Turkey isn't a Christian country. It isn't going to turn it into a church. It was a mosque before they turned it into a museum, and I think it will stay as a museum. The majority of Turkey is Muslim, why would they turn such a treasure into a worship place for a little bit of people?

@1989Tarpon Thank you :) I hope Hagia Sophia becomes an Orthodox Church again. It is so important to our history. We can't even worship in it anymore. They made it into a museum. I heard they are thinking of building a Church that looks like and is the same size of Hagia Sophia in New York.

@magnus56j The Agia Sophia was so impressive that an attempt was made to match it but they couldnt make it as big as the Agia Sophia, The Blue Mosque. The prostrations are similure although we (we being Orthodox) pray facing East while the muslims pray facing Mecca.

@christianotelo Did the Muslims get their design of their mosques from Byzantine style Orthodox Churches? I noticed a lot of their way of worship is similar to ours (I'm Orthodox) too, like making prostrations.
