I'm guilty of being pessimistic too. with such big dreams, its hard to comprehend them actually coming true until you actually reach that point when they're finally in your grasp. And you're right about being realistic. If you set smaller goals that sort of lead up to a bigger goal, to me, that seems a lot less daunting.
