THE DRUMS perform "Saddest Summer" at The Annex (June 3, 2009 first night of their residency)

THE DRUMS perform "Saddest Summer." This was the first night of their residency at THE ANNEX in Manhattan, New York (LES Lower East Side area). They came on after the band Pretty Wreckless which features Taylor Momsen of the TV show Gossip Girl. An odd pairing indeed. A lot of people came out for Pretty Reckless which packed the venue. But at the end of the night THE DRUMS impressed and wowed a lot of their fans as well. It was their first full set which contained 10 songs.

The track "Saddest Summer" will be appearing on their debut EP titled Summertime! It will be out on Twentyseven Records August 4th.
