This clip is from the Jackson Brothers Video Funny Cars and Force and to see the images of many drag racing legends no longer with us is breathtaking. This video is well worth buying if you're a fan of the old Funny Cars.

  • @bvonsvideos Baylands is in Fremont Ca, aka Fremont Drag Strip, and Baylands Raceway Park

  • I saw Garlits, for the 1st time, @ Fontana (CA) for the Mickey Thompson 200 MPH meet, in November '64. I regularly watched The Snake (driving the Hawaiian for Leong) @ Lions, beginning in '64) and Landy (with his injected Dodge) beginning in '65. Lieberman, I saw, race at SoCal strips in '66, '67 and '68 when he used the big block Chevy, Ed "The Ace" and Snow, again, @ SoCal strips beginning in the middle 60's. Drag racing, in the 60's, was magic and so much fun..............

  • How cool is that?

  • Garlits, Snake, Roland Leong, McCewen, Dick Landy (with the cigar)Jim lieberman, Ed mcCollough (Behind liberman at 18) Gene Snow at old Baylands in Sacramento. Could be wrong with some .
