You're not very smart. The ford gt came with a 5.4L SUPERCHARGED engine. Making 550 hp and weighing in a 34xx lbs. It also had a 3.3x gear ratio. What does this mean? It means it makes less power, weighs more, and has taller gears than the zr1. Meaning that it accelerates slower in all 3 departments. It also costs more, gets worse gas millage, and has smaller tires.

You know z06s and zr1s go high 10s off the showroom floor with good drivers.

The ZR1 is also made out of plastic and carbon fibre making it weigh less. For all "Vette" fans, i highly recommend watching Top Gear's Corvette ZR1 VS Audi R8.

The ZR1 has very high potential, but at the launch theres just TOO much wheel spin. With the price of $120,000 you can buy your self a ZR1 or an R8. The R8's faster to the launch BUT will still lose in a drag race because of the amazing supercharged V8 giving it 538 HP and the R8 having a Lamborghini V10. The ZR1 is also crazier around a track, loosing traction at every corner where the AWD R8 can dominate on a track. Now which ones better? Well the Crovette, you don't know why, but it is.

Either way, it just sounds more bad ass when shifting at higher rpm's. :D

Depending on the torque and HP curve, that Zo6 most likely wasn't stock. but ya you could be right.

He'd have less power if he shifted earlier, as he'd start at a much lower rpm.

    If YOU are search Trouble????

Than just klick some YouTube Car Videos ....

Than you find always People in this Comments who wright:

"" This Car is soo Shit, my Favorite Cars are better""

And than the Children starts to Talk, NO this Car are better ..... xD

YouTube Comments should get Switch Off, so the Hater dont have a Forum anymore, and the People would watch the Video only.

I like to get good gas mileage in my car when I'm cruising around town. Unfortunately I get about 9 mpg in the city. 26 on highway though.

I'm not entirely sure the people that buy those cars are looking for the one with better gas mileage.
