nice cover, true to the original and he did mention it wasnt his song, i hate it when people bring out covers of other peoples songs and pass them off as theyr own. I like this, going on the ipod

I'm sorry, but you are terribly misinformed. Thirteen was released by Big Star in April of '72. Elliott wasn't even 4 years old when the song came out. How did you get the idea that Elliott originally wrote it? He even said "How about a cover of a Big Star song?" in the beginning.
I do love Elliott Smith's cover, though.
