I don't think Jack Black has the time to make 840 youtube videos, you know... being a Hollywood actor swinging deals, and all. Busy almost ALL the time. Imagine he has a very social/business life instead of sitting home alone and showcasing gear for Youtubers. So, yeah...he sounds like him. But isn't. Trust me on this one ;) IF JB has even heard of this guy, he probably just laughs his ass off at you guys. Gearmandude has never said he's JB.... he can't. He'd get sued. Just sayin'....

Even though he wasn't accurate with his voice over descriptions on this demo, I still say "Long may The Gearmandude Run". The man is a national treasure ans a boon to all who seek guidance in their pedal pursuits. Gearmandude is the Maharishi of guitar pedals.

@The1970sInfatuate This is the SansAmp. They're just part of the character series, which try to emulate various amps rather than having a distinct voice. The Leeds simulates a Hiwatt, Blonde simulates a tweed Fender amp, and US Steel models a Mesa/Boogie Rectifier.

I'm sure many have pointed this out already, but the Leeds models a HIWATT 100 watt head (as in The Who Live at Leeds). The Blonde is a Fender, and the Steel a Mesa/Boogie. They have a Marshall model -- it's called the British. The Oxford models an Orange, and the Liverpool models an AC30
