A thing people often don't think about it that it sometimes hurts to know that someone likes you, even if you don't like them back.
You don't want to hurt them by saying "no", but you know saying "yes" and letting them live on a lie is even worse.

Thank you Chris. I've been dealing with this battle for the past 3-4 months. I was with a guy for a yr and he left me and the same day he left me he started being with someone else. He told me that he felt for her way before he felt for me. I'm sitting here crying right now... just wondering all these things. hurts so bad especially when you invest so much of yourself into someone or the relationship to have it end like that. I haven't been with anyone since. i don't want to be hurt again.
