3D As-built Model Chemical Plant

3D As-built model created from 3D Laser Scanning by Survey 2 CAD. 10 days fieldwork and 35 days to generate as-built model. Delivered to the client in P.D.M.S. format.

Survey 2 CAD use a Z&F Imager 5006 to capture our 3D Laser Scan Data. We offer a site scanning and 3D model generation service or if you have a scanner of your own, we can take your scan data and generate a 3D as-built model for you.

Survey 2 CAD can model data captured using scanners from the following manufacturers: Z&F (ZOLLER+FRÖHLICH), LEICA HDS, and FARO. We accept scan data in the following file formats: .PTX .ZFC .FLS .PTC

Survey 2 CAD can accept existing 3D design models and move them to their correct as-built coordinates. We can import models in the following formats: XML (P.D.M.S.), MICROSTATION, 3D AUTOCAD, INTERGRAPH P.D.S.

Currently, Survey 2 CAD can export direct to the following 3D CAD packages: P.D.M.S, MICROSTATION, AUTOCAD, REALITYLINX, 3D PLANTLINX.

In addition, we can also deliver files in the following formats: DXF, DWG, DGN, ACIS SAT, VRML 2.0 (WRL FILE), WALKINSIDE (VR FILE)
