@dishsomemidz i disagree completely.

@rabbitspliff Not all Torche songs are drop A. Some sound almost standard, but they prob just play in drop D, drop C, and drop A. I like to play in drop D. Anything more that D or C is just too death metal low for me. Torche knows how to play stoner metal in drop C and A. If you have never heard of these stoner metal bands check them out: ASG(Drop D) The Sword (Drop C) Karma to Burn (Drop D) Pepper (Drop D)

This song is about getting somebody tipsy and teaching them how to have kinky ass sex, the lyrics are way obvious hahah

@youngskeletor of course. steve brooks being most notable - i believe it was he who came up with bomb tuning the guitars which gave Floor, and now Torche, a unique sound. I found it on a forum somewhere, apparently Floor's bomb tuning went, from 6th to 1st, [Flab]AAEBE. I'm also a big fan of Sleep, Electric Wizard and other stoner/doom bands, but just now it's sludge that's doing it for me.

Torche is actually made up of members of Floor if I'm not mistaken.
... and since just about just about every sludge band looks to Sleep for notes, it's only natural that they'd split the difference and take notes from Om or High on Fire in some small way.
Standing on the shoulders of giants or whatever.

@ultron35186 yes you can, especially to this song

@nicknasty585 Om are a bit different to these guys dude :D but yeah Om are awesome but you can't really compare a band like Torche with a band like Om
