Killzone (PS2) Bot Deathmatch

This is just some Bot Deathmatch gameplay for the original Killzone on the PS2. The bot difficulty is set to hard.

If you think these bots play cheaply, try playing it online. I do enjoy multiplayer online sometimes, but the explosive whoreyness of it all it kind of off-putting. All people do is blow you up.

The botmatch is pretty decent in this game, and it supports two players, so you and a friend can kill some time with it.

I cut this vid short at 15 minutes. In the game I set the timer to 15 minutes as well, but 20 minutes later it was still going. Just one of those games who's timer is off.

I tend to play a lot of bot deathmatch when I'm in the mood to play something simple, and don't feel like dealing with the online idiots. Half the time when I'm trying to decide what to play, I throw in a bot match while deciding, but then forget about what else to play.

This vid, again, shows off the differences in the guns from the original to the new ones in the series. I still love the gun in the original, they had more uniqueness to their feel due to most of them having a secondary fire mode. I haven't played KZ3 yet, but the Hellghast rifle in KZ2 blows. There is no real good reason to use it unless you're out of ammo with a better rifle.

@ROY0666 Yep, it has online play. It's like Socom 2 and Socom 3 where it requires you to download a 3MB patch on your 8MB PS2 memory card.

@ROY0666 I don't really have a good way to do commentary. I will eventually get back to my underrated series', I've just been sidetracked, and haven't been able to give all the games I plan on listing the right amount of attention lately.

@teh2Dgamer Believe it or not, but you can actually go to a Dollar Store and buy mics there that work almost as good as the Turtle Beach microphones for PC.

Nice video description. I agree with most of what you said. I always felt the offline bot mode was a lot funner than playing online because everyone uses explosives constantly online. I also enjoyed the unique weapons in killzone 1, made the online even more disappointing since there was no point to ever use bullets when everyone else just used explosives constantly.

Buy the Maxtor/Seagate harddrive "6Y120P0" and have 120GB of space on your PS2. (If you have a fat model) if you have a slim there are alternatives just google it :)
