Fender offer this limited edition model for 2009, It's rare that you see a Telecaster with a matching body colour headstock and so this will appeal to collectors and Tele fans alike ... In truth this Limited Edition model is no better or worse than any other decent Fender Tele - its just different ....

All of the standard configuration of tonewoods are present here, and in turn this provides the characteristic Fender Tele zing from the US Tele single coil pick-ups. Perhaps the beauty of the Tele is the comfort of knowing pretty much what you can expect to receive every time you pick one up to play. It's based around the concept of a certain Global Burger Restaurant which claims that their product should taste exactly the same no-matter where in the world you buy it ....

The same could be said of the Fender Tele, no matter where you are, no matter what colour or how they dress up the cosmetics ... A Tele should always sound like a Tele. And this is essentially what we have here, although it may have a shiny coloured headstock, it retains all of the tonal characteristics that we have come to love and admire about the Fender Telecaster ... There are a few of these available now at the Nevada Music Warehouse ...

Groover is a great blues player, the Fender Blues Junior combo always sounds great, plenty of Fender overdrive fizz for that classic high fidelity sound.

I love the green headstock! Its what makes the guitar look so good. But it does kinda make it look cheaper.

get rid of the matching headstock (it only looks right with jazzmaster/jaguars) and add some binding. then you a hav a great sounding AND great looking tele.
