That's impossible. Either you aren't in the bottom 50% or you're getting that money back at the end of the year in the form of a refund. Yea, I guess the Internal Revenue Service is just one giant "conservative think tank," because that's where I'm getting my statistics from.

Dude, you seriously believe that? No, I don't get a 100% refund, and no one does unless they make under $10,000. Check out the IRS 1040 EZ this January, and just fill out a form as an experiment. Give yourself an imaginary income of $20,000 and see what happens at the end of the form. You will end up paying taxes. The American Heritage is most certainly a conservative think tank.

1st of all, just because a position is taken by a conservative think tank doesn't make that position false. Your argument seems to be "The data compiled by the Heritage Foundation must be wrong because the Heritage Foundation is a conservative think tank and conservative think tanks are wrong...because they just are." Not a very strong argument. 2nd, even if I spout you that, you're still wrong, because none of this data is coming from the Heritage Foundation; it is coming from the IRS.

well dude... make $30,000 and have 3 kids... see if you don't get 100% refund...u will

or, make $50,000, go to college, own a home and have 1 kid...instant 100% refund,

i believe you actually will receive more money than you paid... due to the child tax credits

there are plenty of tax credits one can apply for to be a non tax payer
