What a beautiful movie. It & the music hit every emotion. I've read many biographies on Queen Victoria, but never realized before how truly heartbroken & crushed in spirit she was over the loss of her great love, best friend & true equal, in this life. This movie made me understand the depth of her emotion & that this is one of the greatest of history's love stories.

I never expected to enjoy this film but Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend were just absolutely convincing as the characters they portrayed... I honestly thought they would date each other in real-life. Thank you for posting :)

@vickiehill1 I, too, was so moved by this incredible movie; it is a masrerpiece. I hardly ever see a movie twice. When I was a boy, I saw the "Wizard of Oz" three times. At an art theater in Pasadena, Ca, I saw it twenty- three times. I would later read her biography. What a joy it was to absorb what I could from this truly great woman. What character!!
