Old Menacing gods , Malevolent ancients , slumbering horrors , fiends from behind the veil and monsters from the beyond.

Our mortal minds can't comprehend or rationalize their existence for they break every law of nature , such laws are beneath these cosmic beings , reality bends to their will and our fragile minds break from the horror.

What do they want from us?

Would they make us worship them , enslave us , torture us for their amusement or devour us whole?

Lets hope we never find out.

  • Something I don' understand and Google didn't help. Do Eldritch are fictional characters based on books of H. P. Lovecraft or they are beings based on a real life cult? Because I saw here some references on Daedra which is of course a fictional term. In your video, they also appear some entities that are not from Lovecraft universe. I assume that you consider them Eldritch abominations right?

  • What is the thing at :30 seconds in?

  • @hailMichaelSwaim

    He is the lucid dream.

    The monster in your Nightmares.

    The FIEND of A-Thousand Faces.

    Cower before his true form.

BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH!

    YOGG-SARON!

  • Parallax from the new Green Lantern film is eldritch. He's an evil force that symbolizes fear, feeds on planets, and looks really freaky. Oh yeah, he also sucks out people's souls.

  • @Gramra

Indeed, Parallax and his his brethren are the manifestation of the emotional spectrum. They draw power from the emotions of all life in the universe. Parallax is fear and the others are will, rage, love, hope, compassion and greed.

Some say they're similar to the Warhammer40K Chaos gods but only in infant forms given enough time they will be as monstrous and terrible as the gods of chaos.

You can thank the Oa Guardians for this inevitable disaster, them being idiotic screw-ups.

  • @anthemlog HP Lovecraft, like everything else.

  • @anthemlog The word "Eldritch" means unnatural, alien, and foreign. It derives from middle english "elrich", which comes from the old english "El" (foreign and strange) and "rice" (kingdom or land). So it basicly means "from a strange land/another world".

Lovecraft often used the word to describe the monsters in his stories.
