@MonaLisaKRk Hey, it gets over a 100 here in texas all the time, and you guys don't know what humidity is until you've been in the gulf coast, the air sweats at times. Scotty

@7477238 i'm serious ! and i am not saying my country is superior, i just thought america is cooler at summer bc its very close to the north pole and green land where ice float. if you get 120 F then it makes no much different than the Arabian peninsula which gets 128 -130 as maximum . i hate heat ! .

Im very new to your videos buy i love them already! Youtube 'how to' vids are either of a guy standing in front of a camera using a slow, monotone voice to explain something in 'techno lingo' that confuses people. Or some one who just goes over the top and tries to be a comedian yet still gives out little or no info. I think you found the perfect balance ;) Interesting, fun and also very informative. Cheers!

Scotty I watch your videos all the time. great work.
Dumb question here. Is it possible to ruin your car's a/c compressor if you are running it on a very low refrigerant charge? I was running my ac on a hot day and it was cooling but barely. After awhile the idle suddenly dropped to a very rough state while at a red light. I quickly turned it off (Which returned the idle back to normal) and retested it later. While parked, I heard squeaking sounds and lot of hissing. I'm going to check it to see if it has resistance with the wrench.

@Fastenjaw yes, it can ruin it, but most vehicles have low pressure switches that shut the ac off when the pressure gets too low

@scottykilmer so will this work if my car starts out blowing cold air and then just gradually gets warmer?

@googie109 It can, but of course many things can make an ac stop working, start here.
