Ribbon Cutting ceremony at the house where Superman was created on Kimberly Avenue in the Glenville area of Cleveland, OH July 11, 2009.

This section includes National Anthem and opening remarks by Mike O'Shesky, a speech by City Council members Shari Cloud & Kevin Conwell and the unveiling of the street signs for the newly christened Jerry Siegel Lane, Joe Shuster Lane, and Lois Lane (in honor of the inspiration for the girl reporter Siegel's wife Joanne)

  • I'm glad this house is still here and that along with the house being preserved in Cleveland..the former home of Jerry & Joe..but two streets have been named after Jerry's widow and to the girlfriend and fellow reporter of"Clark Kent"/"Superman":"Ms.Lois Lane".
