Beyond the sea (La Mer) - Instrumental with lyrics

The lyrics for Beyond The Sea was composed by Jack Lawrence with the music taken from La Mer which means 'the sea' (composed by Charles Trenet). The French lyrics by Trenet are totally different from the English ones. The French lyrics pay homage to the changing moods of the sea. Lawrence, by adding the word 'beyond' made the song into a love song of one pining for his lost love.
