Host Antonio Graceffo leads a group of students in Cross Talk, an ALG based communication tool, developed by David Long of AUA Bangkok, to help facilitate crosscultural and extra-linguistic communication.
ALG, Automatic language Growth, is a second language acquisition theory, developed by Dr. J. Marvin Brown, of the United States. The method is currently being used to teach, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese, at AUA School in Bangkok, where David Long continues Dr. Browns research. Antonio took the concepts he learned, while studying under David Long, and applied them to teaching in Taiwan. This video was filmed at one of Antonios linguistics seminars at a university in Tainan, Taiwan. The participants learn to employ an ALG tool, called Cross Talk to communicate across barriers. In the video, you will hear people speaking Chinese, English, German, French, and Thai.
