I used soapcalc.net for exact measurements: coconut oil 45%, Vegetable oil 35%, cocoa butter 10%, rice bran oil 5%, safflower oil 5%, and soapcalc will give you the lye and water measurements to use.

  • This is a well done video. Fantastic job! The music had me wanting to get up and dance but was more interested in the video ; ) The only thing is, there weren't measurements for the ingredients or any mention of the colour used for part of the pie. But very nice video. I'll be looking for more soon! Happy Holidays!

  • @msngr2 Thank you. This video is not for beginner soap makers, that is why I only listed percentages.

  • where do you get your lye? Lye has become harder to find these days because it is considered hazardous material.

  • Try your local hardware store, aaa chemical. the lye guy.

  • thank you so much!!! Please keep adding the soap making videos, they're great!

  • You're welcome:-)
