I always like James Garner. He seemed very down to earth and like someone who never let fame affect him much.

~Always greatly enjoyed his TV "Rockford Files" (-see on Utube), -he'd get into one predicament after another as a struggling Pvt.-detective, -yet somehow manage to survive. Later saw James Garner with his fabulous '32/Packard-phaeton V-12 at a classic-car show, --as he was driving by he nodded, and without thinking i called-out: "-thanks for showing your beautiful car mr.Rockford", --a moment later his actual name dawned upon me , -he played the part so well, -that's just how i saw him..!!
