Playing offensive/aggressive engineer is the most fun I've had with this game.

I'm def never making another frag video, too much work for too little return... -_-

  • what did you use to record this?

  • @blendder35 You can record demos in TF2 and render them out as AVIs. Google source recorder.

  • Defensive engineering is a hard job but its the best contribution to your team that you could make. Offensive engineering sucks hardcore because the offensive classes will outdo you 9/10. Mini-sentry is garbage.

  • @Vigatos More like an INCREDIBLY BORING AND DUMB JOB. Some people don't play TF2 to be efficient robots, or even win. Some people play TF2 to ~have fun~.

Also the mini-sentry owns and you don't know what you're even talking about.

  • @Vigatos Ohohoh, is that a jab at what my potential age and maturity level might be? What a stinging blow!

Sometimes a dude just wants to mess around, sometimes they're super serious and want to help the team. I am generally both of these things. Turtling as engineer was fun on day 1 of beta, but sometimes you just gotta move on and try new things! The engineer can move buildings now, buster. There is no reason not to be even more offensive! Moving a lvl3 forward with cover is a powerful thing.

  • yeah the entire basis for being an offensive engy is that you treat your sentry as a completely disposable tool. A dead sentry basically means "Well, time to set up another one in a different place".

  • You know, this was actually pretty entertaining. Who thought an engie frag video could be, haha.

  • @pikminwars I agree with Vigatos about 2fort, offensive engineers are much less than ones defending the intel. But not every map is 2fort, and there are a lot of maps where defensive engineers shine. Sawmill in arena for example, I've had some ace kills, and I usually do very well with the gunslinger in areas lilke that. The mini-sentry is so underestimated and alot of players just pay it no heed while it picks them off while distracted, and because of it's size, it's easy to miss.

  • @pikminwars In some cases a well positioned, well hidden foreward mini-sentry can finish off injured enemies and drive them back, also with maps with maybe 5+ points, a mini sentry is good because it keeps the presure on, whilst being subtle and move/setup time is no longer a chore.

tl;dr The mini sentry is good for ambushes and the added health bonus of the gunslinger makes you a much more powerful and efficient ovensive class

  • mini sentry+shotgun=ownage

if you know what your doing ofc :P

  • This guy would love the gunslinger

  • @Vigatos play 2fort seriously? that's a good one.

  • @ddd8828 ORLY?

  • @RusPhotochoper Fuck you, JoCo is awesome.

  • That song is hilarious!

  • Stupid song.

  • @Vigatos lol who plays 2fort? 2fort sucks.
