  • WTF? Okay now I am impressed!

  • I like to see them hook up a room full of lights, tv, toaster, radio, etc and see what happens to the paper on the back side of that gum wrapper.

  • OMG ITS GARTH FROM WAYNES WORLD!

  • that is very old Turkish trick. we used to wrap wires arround broken fuse. but it is not safe! because of this behavior fire rates increased.

  • @Surferboy36O yeah your right,im suprised it held up to 120v at atleast 30A for a wrapper thats crazy

  • The aluminium foil would burn if the current is too high. Better use lots of gum wraps!

  • I remember that episode.

  • @Carlos7Matute Yep, the aluminum on the back of the gum wrapper conducts electricity and allows the current to bypass the blown fuse.

You should, of course, replace the fuse as soon as possible afterwards.

  • this is so true, we do it here with a silver cigarette wrappings. it always works!

  • could you do this for a car fuse???
