@NewChannels Have you ever thought about why it seems that many black men "prefer" white women (and I have never had a problem getting attention from men of different races, but that's just me)? The reasons that I have heard are idiotic and insulting to white women. I think love should have no color line or boundaries, but it should be based on just that - love - and not some supposition of what a stereotype of the other race is like.

@NewChannels That's hurtful...a man should look for a woman based on love, not race. I am definitely not one of those women who say that blacks should be with blacks, but I don't think that a limit should be placed on love...I don't understand it...it's really sad. When black women are getting beat down by all sides, it's not helping anyone out...it's cruel and I will be honest with you - as an excellent black woman who loves and cares for her hubby, it's painful to be tossed aside for nought.

My friend is black, and he has an interest in white women. I jokingly asked him one day why black men are interested in white women. He just kind of shrugged it off and so I said: "I have some idea why white women like black men, but I don't understand the other way around." LOL Now, I think I understand, thanks to this video. It's some sort of inferiority complex I guess.

@rjhome1 I did say sometimes. For the record, the divorce rate in the country is above 55% regardless of race. Indeed, the divorce rate for interracial marriages is slightly higher although the difference is not huge. When a man does love a woman (regardless of race) it DOES matter. It always matters. So my words are not empty. I'm only trying to point out that SOMETIMES (there's that word again), a Black dates/marries a White woman BECAUSE he loves her; not beause of some status symbol.

@User5973 That sounds nice but the majority of the time, love has nothing to do with it. People are fascinated with the thought of being with someone different. These relationships rarely last and divorce rates among interracial couples are among the highest in the country. So while your cliches about people loving each other may sound nice, in reality they're just empty words.
