"A Little Lesson...in Brazilian Portuguese" - "Uma Pequena Lição...em Português Brasileiro" is the story of an American music producer from Chicago who comes to find the "Ritmo or Rhythm of Brazil" and ends up discovering much more than he ever imagined. It is the classic "boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, boy loses girl, boy finds himself after losing girl, and, in the end, boy gets girl back" with a bit of a "fish out of water" storyline blended in because the lead character is transported from the United States to exotic Brazil with little advance preparation.

Many of the songs in "A Little Lesson...in Brazilian Portuguese" feature lyrics in English and Portuguese. This clip was produced by Mike Driscoll & Doug Adair. The beautiful photos of Chicago are courtesy of Don Brown and chicagopictures.net Other photos in the production were taken by Mike Driscoll, Nilsi Rodrigues, Doug Adair and contributed by Mush Emmons of Jaguatirica Cinema e Fotográfia. Make-up artistry by Nilsi Rodrigues. Music production by Doug Adair, Fred Barreto and Marcus Castelo Schaaf. Music vocals and narration by Doug Adair.

The long-term objective of the producers is to develop a full theatrical production of "A Little Lesson...in Brazilian Portuguese" (including a DVD or a film project) as a result of collaboration between organizations in Brazil and the United States.

In the meantime, plans are moving forward to produce Live Concert Performances of "A Little Lesson...in Brazilian Portuguese" in Brazil and in the United States. Live Concert Performances of "A Little Lesson...in Brazilian Portuguese" can be presented in both Portuguese and English and feature a performance by a full band and multiple singers (creating the possibility for a variety of guest artists during any given performance), narration of the story, choreography / dancers, multimedia slides and video projected on large screens / flat panel monitors. The 2-hour show (with an intermission) also includes extensive audience participation / interaction which provides for a unique entertainment experience.
