Firstly EVERY tibetan eats roasted barley flour. I'm Tibetan I know. Even the DL. barley is like what rice would be to chinese. Secondly the eye gouging part. he makes it seem like it was so common. infact, there is only ONE recorded incidence of eye gouging for treason. the torture tools had made its way into Tibet from China. Michael Parenti has so much hate for feudalism that he's gone blind to the reality of Tibetan situation and is deluded in this matter. I'll get back later w the CIA bit!

The leaders live in a palace, this is normal within any society. Ok the politics may be true but I find it offensive that you the narrator says the people live in huts and eat shit food.... This is the ignorance of the western world. We see people living in a hut and presume they're poor and sad. Health is wealth and fulfillment I can guarantee you is not something they lack.

I love how the CCP puts all of the emphases on pre invasion Tibet to justify 50 years of occupation. If the CCP were so concerned with the welfare of the Tibetan people they should have left them alone to form whatever government the majority of people wanted. Even if that turned out to be a theocracy, it would be there choice in that case. The CCP keeps distracting and fools keep buying it.
