@MrSmoothSax The best way for him to improve his playing is to listen to the original Glenn Miller recording and other interpretations and mimic the style. He's not going to get the kind of advice he needs on YouTube.

Hey TheRichieSax.. You're doing ok... what you need to work on is: your accents in this song, the high note in the eight notes is accented over the other notes and you have to legato those eight notes too. You should rehearse it at a lower tempo and really focus on those accents, don't listen to those people say that you're playing it to slow. play it slow and gradually build up the tempo and make sure you accentuate and legato !!! btw I am the sax soloist in our band when we play this song
