I forget where, but it's mentioned that humans/elves would be tested at the age of ten. There was the one or two eggs, and they would walk past them to see if the baby dragons saw potential in them. So Eragon was almost 6 years overdue. Brom was furious with him cause it could've killed him. Ya know... in book 3? What we find out about him?

@swordebrithil12 yes, and i remember when book 3 didn't exist and i was like, I BET BROM IS HIS REAL DAD!! but, that frustrated me with tons of questions, like WHY, and come to find out, HE IS HIS DAD!! lol

At first I was sadden that someone this old can love such a poor quality series such as The Inheritance Cycle, then I saw that he doesn't even know the difference between it's and its. This may not renew my faith in humanity, but at least it is further confirmation that all Inheritance fans are illiterate idiots who really should pick up some better books. :)
