I compared my handmade rosettes to the new TH die I received! Thank you cards made from Cuttlebug Cut and Emboss. A birthday project for Dana, my Yoliebean bottleswap partner. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANA!

  • If you use the die and don't want scalloped edges on your flower, just put the scallop on the inside and ...presto...straight edges!

  • @mcescher1957 Great idea :) I like using punches to make different edges too on my handmade flowers. Depends on how lazy I feel that day LOL!

  • The MFT rosette die does not perforate Arlene my butterfly kisses has a tutorial Amit embossed the fold lines just like when you hand make it.

Thank you for sharing your opinion, I love your thank you cards too I have never seen these emboss and cut dies...so pretty!

  • @serenityinhim Hi Christine! Thanks, a friend of mine actually sent me the MFT dies and I have not had a chance to review them but I can't wait! I had seen Arlene's video and put them on my wish list but was in no rush since I loved making them by hand :-) I will post again once I have played around with them for sure! Thanks for your comments, they are appreciated :-) The Cuttlebug cut and emboss folders are awesome. There are a lot to choose from too.

    NJ Hugs right back~

  • i order this thinking it was going to be great. I dont like it at all. Not sure

If I got a bad one or not but it comes apart all the time. I have used really thick paper & it stll comes apart. I have asked other that have it & they have the same problem.

  • @nickryanamanda Yeah, I much prefer making the ones by hand and there are no perforations to tear apart the flowers. It is a good concept in a pinch but like the handmade ones better. You should also try border punching them first and then scoring them. TFW!

  • @KraftyKatsy Wow, great prices Kat! I am still looking for those stamps for friends so if I come across any I will buy them! I was so lucky to get mine, right place at the right time I guess :-) TFW girl! Brigitte

  • Great projects Brigette :) If your'e wanting to order dies again let me know because I pay way less. I ordered the rosette die and only paid $14 for it. Dang I missed out on those stamps at michaels because i couldn't get out there when they had them on. Love the chair stamp..so cute!

  • @ChapmanGriffith Thanks, I got the technique from Jules at jannaviles on YouTube. Go to her channel and look back at her videos for the last few weeks. It should be in her video title. The project was for my friend Dana but got the crackle idea from the lovely and super talented Miss Jules :-) Good luck! TFW, B
