When UK law professor Richard Susskind argued 15 years ago that lawyers needed to change the way they worked, and take advantage of new technologies, the stuffy Law Society of England and Wales said he should not be allowed to speak in public. Now, after decades in the wilderness, his ideas have won begrudging acceptance. Hear him tell Jim Zirin that the time charges oriented business model of the large law firm is flawed, and that if lawyers don't reinvent themselves, they will risk extinction.
