According to your schematic the serial port connection was attached to (RE1) pin 9 and GND? i thought the PIC 16F877 serial port connection was between pins 25 and 26 Rx and Tx? and are you using Hyperterminal to input messages? I like to attempt building it but i just need to clear some questions thanks

@0815521576 It was really meant to show how to go about the 3 dimensional soldering underside the board... got caught up and didn't take as many photos as originally intended....
