@gallstonethefirst It was just volunteering at a campaign office, not the West Wing. The gutsy (and slightly shady) thing she did was making herself his assistant, rather than just making phone calls. They'll let anyone in to make phone calls. ;)

He's easily persuaded, or a succor for a pretty face. Either way one day a random woman had absolutely nothing to do so she decided to go to The White House and work.She pulls it off, lol. Would you Adam and Eve it! Doesn't work at Downing Street they have a big gate and guards plus someone has let you in.

When she says" you" does she mean the Barlett campaign or is she referring to Josh.

It's funny. If you saw Janel walking down the street, you wouldn't necessarily think "That is the most beautiful woman in the world." She is beautiful, B+/A-, but the thing that tips it over the edge and makes her an A+, is her personality. She's like a secret gem.

I think a big part of Josh's character is that he doesn't know what he's got till he's gone--that's why he takes the loss of his loved ones, like his sister, so hard. And at least they get together in the end!!
