I've always wanted to make a mix for The Pharcyde's "Runnin", but few songs seemed able to catch the spirit properly. This song off Marcus D's 'Melancholy Prequel' seems to fit perfectly. I didn't have to do much to make the verse fit either (it sounds choppy during the hook, but I didn't actually cut it that way; that's just how the song was recorded). After looping the beat, it just sorta fell into place :)
This was made using Marcus D's "Hope" and The Pharcyde's "Runnin'".
