Manoharan aka Manu (Pratap Pothan) is a a man with a good heart. He came to Chennai to become an actor. But after failing to do so he starts working at a restaurant as a waiter.He meets his boss's daughter Radha (Seema) and falls in love with her. One day he bumps into his old friend Ramesh (Soman) at the restaurant. They bond just like the old days. Manu had lied to his mother that he is working as a clerk but Ramesh who is not aware of this,tells his mother the truth. Ramesh wants to help him out and therefore takes him to his producer friend. He likes Manu and signs him for his film. Manu wants to become famous and then marry the love of his life. Amidst all this his old Boss decides to marry his daughter Radha to Ramesh. Ramesh wants Manu to marry her. Will the confusion be sorted out and will Manu be able to marry the love of her life? Watch the rest of the movie to find out.

[Prakash Viswanathan]

The movie Server Sundram was initially a stage play written and directed by K Balachandar. The movie was released in 1964,(directed by P.Arunachalam) Chech Server Sundram in wikepedia or just youtube it.

The tamil version was a classic and ofcourse Pratap cannot match Nagesh's performance.
