A film that both critics and audiences finally agreed on not nominated for Best Picture?
Nobody bashed Clint Eastwood's masterpieces because of his raspy voice...

  • No one "makes" an opinion. They just have them. Also, nobody has to "justify" their opinion to you. No one is obligated to explain their feelings to you, and you're not entitled to hear anyone's justification for those feelings. Also, you're argument considering the huge amounts of money spent on the movie and how much it grossed just shows that you know too little about the industry to look at anything but bare, neutral numbers and stats.

  • @BootySweat4491 Okay, this is the last time I'm replying to cunts who think they're smart. I used the numbers as one point and justified that because a film is very unlikely to make astronomical amounts of money without raving reviews and word of mouth. Also, if you made an exquisite dessert for example and someone tasted it and told you it was poorly made without substantiating their point while the top chefs of the world and majority of people beg to differ and justify their reasons...

  • @BootySweat4491 ....which criticism would you take more seriously? If the person told you they preferred to eat bull shit over your undeniably exquisite dish and also had the audacity to not justify why, would you be happy? No. I've yet to find one person who gives bad criticism to this film justify their opinion. It's a technicality, in science when you have a theory, it is void if evidence for it is not given or does not exist. I'm not replying to anymore imbosolic ass holes.

Wow, rage much? I like the movie, don't get me wrong, I just find your argument elementary at best. If someone ate a pile of turds over my dish and didn't justify why, no I wouldn't be upset. Let them eat dog crap if they want, it's not my prerogative to know why. Also, I know plenty of people who have explained thoroughly their criticisms of the movie, aside from the voice. So stop raging because people have a different opinion than you, calling people "cunts" and the like

  • @BootySweat4491 Hhahahaha "calling people cunts and the like" hahaha thanks man that made my day.

  • Sorry man...this is just logical flaw after another.

It doesn't really matter how much a movie grosses, that not what makes it a good movie, or at least not all that makes it great. I won't deny that I like or possibly love the dark knight, but you're not making any good points here by trying to outsmart trolls with thoughts completely dominated by emotion.

  • @iodon The main point I was getting across is that people kept bitching that it was over hyped, over rated etc without giiving valid arguments. I used the point of how much the film made ONLY as one point to convey that a film does not make that much money unless word of mouth is that it's incredible. The main point of this video was that i was sick of people giving unconstructive criticism and not even backing it up. The awards, word of mouth and reviews are incontrovertible proof of my point.

  • It's number 8 now on IMDB, still in the top 10, I agree with you bro, the movie is tops, its in my top 5 of all time

  • @etocadet Christopher Nolan if you have not yet realised created a realistic world. In the real world would you find a man dressed as a bat speaking in a normal voice intimidating? No. It's what makes the character. Have you heard anyone say "Oh, why didn't Don Corleone The Godfather speak in a normal voice? No. Because it's what made his character. As for the Heath Ledger argument. Believe it or not most people didn't know he passed away until after they saw the film and saw the credits.

  • I only like it cuz i love the joker played by Heath :3

  • hollywood are ignoramuses because since it's label as a superhero movie so it's shouldn't taken seriously. the movie combines heat, departed and scarface mashed with superhero element and you get TDK!

  • @OceanMinded180 of course! That's perfectly fine when it comes to prefernce theirs not a whole lot that can be argued. however i think the problem here is that were talking about people who don't present it that way. sometimes it can come off as hating rather then preference.

for instance taking the whole food argument into play if i order two meals and at the end admit i prefer one over the other, i still admit that both were excepionlly good i don't straight up say "this meal was shit"

  • @hyuthestampede prime example here. good job. some art just doesn't appeal to certain people, and those people have only their taste and personal preferences to base their dislike on. it's not an attack on the piece, simply them presenting to the rest of us that it's not in their taste. it doesn't FIT them and we should respect that instead of picking fights and chasing them down for it

  • also, people are allowed to form opinions ON THEIR OWN. so don't tell them to look at the reviews and how much money it made and expect them to turn around like "oh man, that movie did get good reviews, it MUST have been good". stop being a jackass and let them decide FOR THEMSELVES

  • so...you pick fights with people because they have opinions that differ from yours? people post things to express their opinions and you decide to confront them and for what? so you can post a video of your own thoughts in which you don't justify anything at all. you just talked in circles. get your shit straight, believe what you want and for the love of god, keep your opinions to yourself

  • when people asked me which movie was my favourite movie, i didnt have an answer. But now i have. The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger, may he rest in peace, he changed many lives in that movie. I speak for everyone when i say that The Dark Knight IS the BEST movie EVER. And btw....The Dark Knight is rated 9 / 10 <3
