Denny Duquette: season 2, episode 25

A heart is found for Denny, but the donor dies before Burke arrives for the organ harvest. He attempts to get the heart from another donor, but Denny is second on the transplant list, having been entered 17 seconds after the first placed person. On hearing this, Izzie takes matters into her own hands, cutting power to his LVAD (left ventricular assist device) so that he will go to the top of the UNOS donor list.

@TearfulBeauty katherine heigl was the only reason i ever watched the show. she does these stupid romantic comedy movies now, but she's capable of soo much more and her acting on grey's anatomy proves it (esp. the scenes between izzie/denny/alex). she totally deserved that emmy.. wished there could have been more. hopefully, she starts taking more serious roles in film, since she's done with television.

It was so cruel to put them (and us) thru all this just to kill him when you thought they were going to start a life together. They didnt have time man! This is the most beautiful story on TV and also the saddest. You don't touch in a team thats winning. Why?!? Whyyyyy??? Love these two :(
