On a cold weekend in May, 5 musicians led by Matty Powell went up into Ness Creeks boreal forest. Armed with only their instruments, a generator, recording equipment and beer, they spent 3 days in a cabin with no running water, power or heat. The result is a honest, simple and beautiful e.p. that is reminiscent of days gone by when everyone made records like this. Whether it's the fire crackling or chairs squeaking this e.p. is an honest representation of a beautiful weekend, in one of Canada's most beautiful places. You can be a part of the process at The Broadway Theatre on September 5th when they release this experience to the Saskatoon.

Isn't it wonderful and magical to be at the Ness site when no one else is there? This video is beautiful. Thanks for posting it.

Bruce took me to this cabin at this year's Ness, a very fitting place for your music Matty and to hang with friends...I look forward to more.
