A Hand to Hold

Story: Three friends tormented at a summer camp (Christy, John and Dawn) run away, thinking it will solve their problems. Two are fortunate to come across True Heart Bear, a guardian of the Care Bear's.


However, Christy comes across the wrong kind of friend; He (Dark Heart) offers her physical strength and intelligence, something she's wanted. After he befriends her, he gives her some time to think about it. She later decides she hates being picked on, so takes him up on the offer. Having the abilities changes her character, but she doesn't even notice, nor care.


Dark Heart comes later to check up on her and recruit her for capturing the Care Bear Family. She helps Dark Heart capture the Care Bear Family, but while she's doing it, she starts to think of her true friends, Dawn and John.


At the end of the day, the twins find their friend and begin to talk to her; to try and convince her of what she's known all along - that Dark Heart isn't really her friend. She resists them for awhile, finding excuses to wave them off, but then she recalls what she's done since meeting Dark Heart, and changes her mind. She tells them that she was wrong and that she's sorry, but she also says that she believes they are to late.


Meanwhile, the Care Bear's are trying to escape; three of them go to Dark Heart's throne room to get the key, but accidentally awaken the slumbering villain, and he imprisons them within a chandeller of crystals. Shortly thereafter, Christy and her two friends arrive, and later still, Noble and True.


Christy is determined to save the Care Bear's and stop Dark Heart. She becomes seriously injured, but with her last bit of strength, she releases the Care Bear's, and then blacks out.

THE END!


...okay, so it's almost identical to the actual movie itself, with some difference in scenes, and it focuses heavily on Christy. ^^"
