Excellent Work Guys, we don't get storms like that here but we do get to work in very big trees, as I am 52 I am a rope man and rarely use access equipment like yourselves, it's just how I was taught when i was a boy and I've been doing that ever since both for Newport Forestry and my own business, enjoyed the vid - keep safe guys

nice job to all of you out there. stay safe.

That is some seriously dangerous tree work!
Wouldn't want to put an inexperienced climber in any of those trees.
Thanks for another great video!
Work safe!

Use TNT...

The climbers have balls of steel.

Did lots of stuff like this in Oregon. What a blast! White and Black Oaks.

@MatthewBanchero I also note you didn't bother to apologize for trying to falsely assign statements to me. Speaks volumes, and is not the stuff of heroes...
-
@MatthewBanchero you are silly. you are a typical jingoist today. are you an arborist? I'm betting yes, and that you see yourself as a "hero", and so are actually being immodest and self-congratulatory. I've dropped trees like those in the vid, and I am not even a pro. I'm not a hero because I dropped a tree, like tens of thousands of men in past generations. It is only in today's sick culture in which REAL heros are spit on, while people demand they are "hero's" for doing their jobs...
-
@MatthewBanchero: when my son was going through a LONG delivery, I watched the nurses doing their thing and had so mcuh grattitude for their service, I thought that nurses and the like should be the ones getting medals for saving lives, not the military types. To me the guys paintig the bridges and digging the coal and anyone else that is willing to put his life on the line to serve the greater community is a hero, or at least acts heroically.

A person who risks their life to protect others is a hero. Where I'm at there is enough work so that a lot of really sketchy work gets passed on. The heroes step up to take down the seriously hazardous stuff.
your all a bunch of big sissys...LOL..BIG JOHN

@rusliding YA YA YA... only you can say so! It was 102º in full sun that afternoon on the second tree.. I had been doing saunas a few times a week to adjust to the heat and it really works well..
Did you notice that the video is dedicated to Joey Cornell? Funnt you should comment on it now, just after his death..
