how to spot a fake benchmade 42 READ DESC

these tips also work for the fake 40t, 40tr, 43, 47 and 49 besides the blades. none of these are for sale, forgot to mention the tang pin and tang pin cups. the real one is good and sturdy, the fake is shitty and will get dinged and dented easy and will fall out quickly. the cups on the real are just magical whereas on the fake, it looks like they used the same tool to do the tang pin cups as the latch cups.

@Lookinformemarbles yeah, the fake isn't a completely awful knife, but it's like comparing a ferrari testarossa to a pontiac fiero with a body kit to make it look like one. and thanks, that mini griptilian is a pretty sweet little knife, i'm definitely becoming a benchmade fan.
