Part 3 of James Button's D.A
An experiment into cinematography, long takes, light and dark, film noir and the telling of a story of an assassin.

Synopsis:
A desperate man is forced to kill for money, a place to live and protection. He suffers mentally from the murders and is taught away to lose his human emotions. He uses these techniques when questioned violently about his life when he wakes up in an interrogation room, where he has flashbacks of how he got to where he is...

A film I've been making, remaking and planning for six years.
Now finally complete.

It is very different to previous versions of 'The Dark Assassin' as its focussed on lighting, unconventional storytelling and meaning.

@JamesButtonFilms Well I'm not sure I'd care to go to a tea party with any of the characters but they're well constructed in a "smash-your-face-in" sort of way and the storyline has a nice little twist at the end.

This is a stunning work - incredible cinematography, especially the use of light and dark. The silent scene shot at the railway station overpass was awesome. The acting performance of the lead role is absolutely immense - James Button HAS to go far in acting life if there is to be any justice in the world. Head Chav performance was amazingly good too, in what was a very hard role to get right. Head interrogator was decent, but just needed to put a bit more venom/menace into the role. Phenomenal!

the way you tell the story through the hmm beatings and i love the music especially the piano very nice :P I love the writing that comes up on the phone call and the part where you show the scalpel in your hand :D x I quite like the panning in the pub too i didnt know whether it worked at the start but then i noticed how it flowed really well when he walked away :D x Lol I think i just love your film(s) :P Just a very very cool film i can imagine you are really pleased with it x AWESOMENESS!!

Ah woooooow! I love the chair escape! And then the jump over the chair was awesome LOL! I didn't know it was connected to your other video! Very very well planned! I love the camera work! You killed a few didn't you :P I especially love the one at the train station where you walk over the bridge connecting the two stairs! I also like the (im guessing this is what you meant) the before and after shots where you flick back and forth to sitting down, is that right? I lovei run out of characters brb
