That Welsh commentator (Dominic Dale? Maybe.) is just the worst I have ever heard.

Yes but selby beats him every day every night

@ArsenalTomas no i must vorrect you. hendry started playing at age of 13 years. he got his cue on his 13th birthday
-
@chof0319 you're talking out of your ass. hendry started when he was 9, when he was 14 he appeared on junior pot black and said he had been playing consistently for five years, so 14-5=9. don't make up random shit.

I've watched both Stephen Hendry and Ronnie O'Sullivan play live, and whilst 'The Rocket' is breathtaking at his best and the most talented player to ever pick up a cue, talent alone does not make you the best. Hendry is more consistent and a better break-builder. He also can handle pressure situations better than Ronnie, he is just declining with age, just like Ronnie will.

The problem now is that the modern game has moved on. The game that Hendry ushered in was pretty much rewritten by O'Sullivan. Now every player wants to play like him, and Hendry's old, steady game is being destroyed by the new, young attacking players. It's a shame to see it, because he's still an amazing player.

lol poor Williams :D
I've followed Stephen Hendry since he started. It does hurt a little to see how his game has gone now. But, despite that, or who is world number 1, Hendry is the greatest player ever...Fact and end of. A true sportsman who wins and loses with dignity and respect. Fingers crossed for 1 more World Title and if anywhere could bring something like Hendrys best back it will be Sheffield.
